The Lighthouse Opera (“LOC”) exists to bring new and emerging opera talent to the public's attention. At LOC, we know that great singers come in diverse packages. We celebrate this diversity by emphasizing beautiful singing and consummate artistry. If you are a classically trained singer and enjoy performing, please consider auditioning for the Lighthouse Opera Company, Inc.

Our thanks to all singers who auditioned for our fall 2020 Distant Flute virtual presentation and our 2021 Die Zauberfloete live production!
We also heard some wonderful submissions for our anticipated
                La Traviata 2022.
All singers under consideration have been contacted.
We thank you for your interest in the Lighthouse Opera Company!

If you are interested in being a part of our productions, please submit materials, resumes, bios, videos, YouTube clips, etc... to Lighthouse Opera via: info@lighthouseopera.org. Please do not mail any hard copy materials.

All roles are available, at this time. We pay a small honorarium. We anticipate a chamber ensemble for Flute and a more full orchestra for the later Traviata.

Presentation dates for Distant Flute are November or December 2020. We work towards an in-person performance of Flute in early 2021, pending NYS restrictions and further funding. Former LOC performers are encouraged to submit materials. We plan for Traviata performances in fall 2021.

"This project [FLUTE] is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council and the

                Bronx Council on the Arts."
